New Ukrainian vocabulary test available online

This year, the Institute for Test Research and Test Development in Leipzig created a Ukrainian vocabulary test, which is now available online free of charge. This is our response to the growing interest in the East Slavic language. Not only abroad, but also in Ukraine itself, the demand for Ukrainian courses and learning materials has increased enormously.

The ITT can look back on more than 10 years of experience in the field of creating and researching vocabulary tests. The free offer on the website has been continuously expanded over time and now includes 16 languages. Further vocabulary tests are in the pipeline (Polish vocabulary test: publication planned for 2024).

The free Ukrainian vocabulary test consists of two separate tests and checks both receptive and productive vocabulary knowledge. The results allow conclusions to be drawn about reading skills and can be assigned to a level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
