Das Institut für Testforschung und Testentwicklung e.V. wurde im April 2012 gegründet.
Zweck des Instituts ist die Förderung von Wissenschaft und Forschung sowie die Förderung der Erziehung, Volks- und Berufsbildung einschließlich der Studentenhilfe.
